Mid-century Alfredo Barbini Italian Murano ashtray and matching table lighter set. Hand-blown in the classic biomorphic "geode" form, made in thick heavy sommerso glass finished with an overlapping rim and pinched rest. Deep cranberry that’s been cased in blue and clear glass, giving this piece it's jewel like tone, depth and clarity. Features rare alessandrite colorway that shifts from soft ruby-lavender to cool blue. Both pieces display beautifully together on a bar, vanity or coffee table.

Vintage Condition: There are no cracks or chips in this set. However, please keep in mind that each piece is in original vintage condition so there may be minimal wear due to use. These items were handblown, so small imperfections or variations - such as air bubbles, ash or asymmetry - may be present and are a natural part of the original manufacturing process.
